Nutella Shake!

Sugar Daddies Creamery in Davis CA had what i needed. Before walking into the shop i knew I wanted a shake of some sort.
The creamery has the option for costumers to make their own shake. They put four scoops of ice cream into the shake. There were several recommendations of shakes that you can choose from as well but as I was looking through the ice cream options I knew what I wanted. Nutella ice cream. Oh my my do I love Nutella. I sampled the Nutella Ice cream and knew it was love. Though, I knew it would be too chocolaty for a shake, so I added vanilla ice cream as well.
The cost was $4.50

That shake was the best I have had. I recommend every person to try the
Nutella/ Vanilla shake.

The creamery also is a joint business with Cupcake Craving. You can purchase Ice cream and cupcakes at the same time.

Confit Con Duck, a la mode

Putah Creek Café, Winters, CA

This restaurant is famous/ popular because it has been featured on the television show "Diners, Drive ins, and Dives" Guy Fierri ordered the Cioppino. Apparently all food is locally grown and made from scratch.

Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of this meal even though I tried something completely new. I had the Confit Con Duck, which is duck. DUCK! I felt horrible ordering duck but i told myself I had to try it at least once in my life. It came with mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, mushroom, and other vegetables. My friend told me it tasted like chicken but my argument was: why order something that tastes like chicken when you can just have chicken? So i had to try it. It was a bit salty for my taste, more greasy then chicken and more tender, similar to turkey.

After the meal, I was having a bit of a sweet tooth so I ordered carrot cake. I love carrot cake. A friend ordered pumpkin pie "a la mode". When I heard "a la mode" i was thinking "a la cart". When the pumpkin pie came out it had ice cream on top. My response: "Why does it have ice cream?"
I had no idea "a la mode" ment with ice cream on top. I googled the meaning to be sure and sure enough people "a la mode" means ice cream on top or on the side. Now i want everything "a la mode"!

I'm thinking some hot chocolate a la mode would be amazing. You heard it here first!

I spent $27.30, not including tax. Over all I rate my experience: A-

Burgers and Brew, Davis, CA

I came up to Davis to visit a few friends and went to Burgers and Brew for lunch. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the spring mix salad, as well as a side of curly fries. I spent roughly $12.00. The costumer service was satisfactory. There was no pressure to order immediately. The cleanliness was exceptional and the person cleaning tables was hustling. The meal was delicious and I was able to finish everything on my plate. The environment was relaxed and enjoyable. We were able to sit past finishing our meal to conversate. My friend ordered a garden burger and garlic fries. This burger has a vegetarian patty although she is not vegetarian, she wanted to try something new. She loved the burger but the fries did not amaze her or myself. Overal we had a great time.
